MIDA FORUM 2013

Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) is organizing an inaugural forum bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, decision makers, investors and policy makers across the globe to a platform to discuss the strategic role of Malaysia in the dynamism of Asia at the Forum on “Asian Era: Malaysian Perspective” to be held on 18-20 November 2013 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)

The forum is expected to attract around 1,000 participants including 300 to 400 international participants. Accomodation costs for overseas participants will be borne by MIDA.

Among the confirmed speakers are the Hon. Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia; the Hon. Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia; Mr. Robin Martin, Managing Director, Intel Malaysia and Mr. Parag Khanna, Senior Fellow at the New America Foundation who will speak on redefining global competition.

In the afternoon, the forum will provide four breakout boardroom discussions focussing on the areas of aerospace, advanced electronics, oil & gas and green technology.

The event promises to be a perfect platform for investors and business leaders to gain first-hand information and insights on the challenge and opportunities in Malaysia as the strategic location for the new Asian Era as well as providing a platform for business networking opportunities.
